As we head into 2014 and in the oncoming months of planning another excellent Barcamp, it’s long overdue for me to look back at Barcamp Bournemouth 5 – there’s no time like the present, right?
Barcamp Bournemouth 5 was a great weekend. We had killer robot tanks, skydiving problems, NASA tours, multiplayer mazes, the always brilliant failure swapshop, and many more fantastic talks. If you want to skip to the storify highlights from Twitter, run yourself to the bottom of this post.
Thanks to our excellent sponsors – Bournemouth University, BCS, Freshleaf Media, and Campaign Monitor, we were able to provide a great weekend right on campus in Bournemouth Uni, with food, breakfast, and everything else in between, so a huge thank you to those.
And of course, a huge thank you to the attendees – the variety of attendees always makes Barcamp such an enthralling, fascinating experience – whether you’re a web developer, a software architect, or just plain geeky, Barcamp has always and continues to be a great place to meet new friends and catch up with old friends.
